John’s vision from God in Revelation 21 gives us a picture of the new heavens and earth—all ethnicities bringing what’s good and beautiful about their cultures to live together. As we exist in the “already but not yet” of this kingdom to come, we learn about other ethnicities and cultures with curiosity, lament what has been broken and twisted by sin, and live out what is true and beautiful about our own culture.
