When and how did the Lord save you?
The Lord saved saved me in my senior year of highschool at a worship celebration night at the Highland Village campus. After years of rebellious behavior as a teen, the Lord used my girlfriend at the time (now wife) and student minister to minister to my heart. In developing a relationship with the student minister at the time, the Lord revealed himself to me and showed the path I was on would only lead to despair and destruction and that I needed a savior. After years of running from the Lord, I began to run to him.

When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
I began attending TVC in 1996 with my parents as a youth. They made me attend. I didn't have a choice.

Book/Movie/TV Show Recommendation and Why
I would recommend the Chronicles of Narnia and Lord of the Rings series because of the use of allegory to represent biblical ideas and characters. I can't pick one and both are so good. I love all the Star Wars movies because...this is the way. My favorite show is probably Parks and Recreation. Everyone can relate to one of the characters on that show. For me, that is Ron Swanson.

I would probably go with a the topic of the importance of outdoors in youth development.

Childhood Dream Job
I always wanted to be a game warden or professional fisherman.

Fictional Character Friend & Why
Probably Luke Skywalker so he could teach me the ways of the force.

Favorite Hobby
I love just about anything outdoors: Fishing, hunting & being away from the city lights. I also enjoy building Lego sets with my two boys. I love watching Marvel movies with my wife.
