Top 3-5 Responsibilities
I have the great privilege of getting to be in Kids Village spaces each weekend... I am responsible for all things Large Group in Kid's Village... I get to teach occasionally, write devotionals for our volunteers, and a great many tasks that would fall into the category of "other".

When and how did the Lord save you?
I heard the gospel at an event for incoming 6th graders and... I believed and "asked Jesus into my heart" with very little understanding of what that meant. The Lord planted and grew a very humble seed of faith... I didn't know it then, but I was stuck in fear and entangled by my deep drive to be “good enough.” I was far from walking in the fullness of what Christ offered, but He continued to give me an insatiable desire for more of Him.

When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
I started attending TVC in early 2007. I was still in school at Texas A&M, but people were passing around burned CD's of Matt Chandler's sermons (yes, this dates me)... I graduated in May of 2008 and moved back to the area. TVC has been my church home ever since.

Book/Movie/TV Show Recommendation and Why
This is constantly changing, depending on what I have seen or read most recently. At the moment, I find myself recommending "Lars and the Real Girl" and "The Return of the Prodigal Son" by Henri Nouwen.

TED Talk Subject & Why
Mine would be on why more adults should read (or re-read) excellent Juvenile Fiction. Why? Because some of the richest and most truth-saturated books I've read in my adult life have been written "for children"... My other Ted Talk option would be the benefits and beauty of a classical education.

Childhood Dream Job
I would be a writer.

Fictional Character Friend & Why
Leslie Knope from Parks and Recreation. She is loyal, hilarious, and has so much gumption

Favorite Hobby
I like to read, write, and move my body (barre workouts, ballet, and long walks).
